Situado en pleno corazón de EL CHORRO y disfrutando de unas privilegiadas vistas sobre el CAMINITO DEL REY, el COMPLEJO TURISTICO LA GARGANTA pone a disposición de sus clientes 26 apartamentos para dos y cuatro personas, así como un restaurante con capacidad para 180 comensales.
APARTAMENTOS
Rodeados del fantástico paraje natural "Desfiladero de los Gaitanes", los apartamentos LA GARGANTA están diseñados mezclando los materiales de antaño con un diseño moderno e innovador, para proporcionar al huésped un lugar ideal donde descansar y disfrutar de todo y de todos los que le rodean. Los apartamentos para dos personas están distribuidos en dos plantas, con la cocina y el salón en la primera planta y el dormitorio y el cuarto de baño en la segunda. Los apartamentos para cuatro personas están distribuidos en una sola planta, y cada uno cuenta con baño, cocina, salón, dos dormitorios y una amplia terraza con vistas hacia "La Garganta del Chorro". RESTAURANTE
Con unas envidiables vistas sobre el "Caminito del Rey", nuestro restaurante ofrece dos amplios salones, con una capacidad de 90 personas cada uno, y varias terrazas, con una capacidad desde 15 hasta 50 personas. En ellas podrá disfrutar de una comida casera, cocinada como lo hacian nuestros mayores, entre la que destacan muy especialmente nuestras migas, callos, carnes al horno (entre ellas chivo y cordero) y unos deliciosos postres de elaboración propia, todo ello regado con una completa selección de vinos. Al final del día, nada mejor que disfrutar de una tranquila velada en la que podrá tomar una copa disfrutando de la naturaleza y la tranquilidad que nos rodea.

Located in the heart of "EL CHORRO" and enjoying some amazing views over the "CAMINITO DEL REY", LA GARGANTA TOURIST COMPLEX includes 26 apartments, for two and four people, as well as a restaurant with room to seat 180 diners.
APARTMENTS
Surrounded by the fantastic natural landscape of the "Desfiladero de los Gaitanes", the apartments in the LA GARGANTA complex mix traditional materials with a modern, innovative design, to provide guests with an ideal place to relax and enjoy everything around them. The apartments for two people are laid out on two floors, with the kitchen and living room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. The apartments for four people are laid out on a single floor and they include a bathroom, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and an extensive terrace looking out over "La Garganta del Chorro".
RESTAURANT
With incredible views looking out over the "Caminito del Rey", our restaurant has two large dining rooms, each one with room for 90 people and several terraces that may seat from 15 to 50 people. Home cooking is served in these restaurants, with the dishes our grandmothers' used to make, amongst which a special mention should be given to our 'migas' (breadcrumbs - a traditional dish made from pork and breadcrumbs), tripe stew, oven-roasted meats (including kid and lamb) and some delicious homemade desserts. All of these dishes may be washed down with a complete selection of wines. At the end of the day there is nothing better than enjoying a peaceful evening where you can have a drink whilst enjoying the nature and tranquillity of our surroundings.
MULTI-ADVENTURE
The natural park "Desfiladero de los Gaitanes" surrounding our complex is the ideal place for organising many multi-adventure activities. Less than a kilometre away, you will find many activities to join in, such as mountain bike riding, mountain climbing, hill walking, abseiling or pony trekking, amongst many other outdoors activities. It is also a perfect place to enjoy the enormous landscapes and magnificent images for photography fans, in an area that is also ideal for walking in a place of outstanding beauty.
EL CHORRO
Peacefulness, sports, adventure, relaxation, beauty, nature and good weather. These are some of the concepts that define the area around EL CHORRO, a place where visitors can relax, strolling over its hills, or discharge the adrenaline accumulated over the year, by practising mountain climbing in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a place where one-off visitors or dangerous sports lovers can submerge themselves in a passionate fragment of the area's history. During a relaxed visit to the most important sites around EL CHORRO, 'El Caminito del Rey' deserves a special mention. It is a path that crosses the gorge of EL CHORROS, over 100 metres from the ground and it was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The ruins of Bobastro are also worth visiting, an ancient Mozarabic church dug out of the rock, Doña Trinidad Grund's cave, which has great archaeological interest, containing many paintings and some spectacular stalagmites and stalactites and the important hydraulic works at the Conde del Guadalhorce reservoirs With all these attractions, EL CHORRO has become the ideal destination to enjoy a few days surrounded by an irresistible natural beauty in all its splendour.
