Además de la tranquilidad de la naturaleza que opta el Complejo y de sus servicios internos, también disponemos de:

Una vez alojados en nuestras casas, el visitante podrá contratar diferentes actividades al aire libre, tales como:

-Rutas a caballo
-Rafting por el Rio Segura
-Avistamiento de cetaceos en velero.
-Y muchisimas mas actividades según la temporada.
Nota:Para todas estas actividades opcionales, hay que contratarlas con antelación.

| | | | | | | Situated 25km northeast of Murcia with a population of more than 7.000 inhabitants and 11 municipal districts of which are located in the mountain sides and neighbouring areas or are hidden among the ravines of the Sierra del baño, "Bath Mountain".
The surrounding lands are home to thermal waters and in the foothills of "The vega del segura" is LA MATANZA (where EL VIEJO ESTABLO "THE OLD STABLE" is situated.
There are also two Natural Reservations.
The Regional Park Sierra de la Pila (1264 metres) is classified as a place of community importance Lugar de Importancia (LIC). It is important to mention the "Pozos de las Nieves" (snow wells) and the "Miradores" (viewpoints).
The other park is the Humedal del Ajauque y Ramble Salada, where the flow of water is restricted due to the limited amount of rainfall (never more than 300mm per year). In 1966 the Reservoir of Santomera was built, (5km from the "OLD STABLE") as a consequence of the occasional rainfall. These waters are said to have the highest quantity of salt in Europe.
The average temperature is 20oC and the area of semi-desert full of history converts the complex into a special place to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.
The cuisine is always a reflection of the way of life within the means of the agricultural worker. Some well known dishes are gachasmigas, el empedrao, el cocido con pilotas, el trigo pelao,(a dish typically eaten on sacred Thursday),el arroz con conejo and serranas (rice with rabbit and snails, of which you can collect your own if desired) and last but not least the desserts, buñuelos, pasparajotes, arroz con leche. All the above are the typical cuisine from the Murcian region.
Crafts, Esparto grass which is a course, tough grass native to Spain, is of great importance due to the multitude of utensils made with it, not forgetting bobbin lace. You can watch these beautiful laces being handmade along with other handcrafted objects.
Many and varied are the fiestas in Fortuna, the highlights being: Carnivals, Fire fiestas in honour of San Juan (Saint John), and San Pedro (Saint Peter), Easter week, San Isidro,(during the weekend after May 15) Christmas, Patron Saints day San Roque, Sodales and Romans (10-17 August) and Ibero-Roman parades declared of regional tourist interest.
This complex is ideally situated for those who would like to visit this type of tourist attraction, as all the fiestas are celebrated locally. Also the nearest beach is only 35 minutes away.
