| | | | | Los caños estan situados en Cenicientos (pequeño pueblo de la comunidad de MADRID)a las puertas del Valle del Tietar y Sierra de Gredos,con una distancia de 60 km de TOLEDO,65 KM de AVILA y 80 km de MADRID. Por su gran riqueza natural y su alto valor paisajistico: se encuentra en un entorno privilegiado con una altitud de 1252 metros, desde donde se divisa por el norte hasta Segovia,por el sur los montes de Toledo.Esto ultimo ha hecho que Cenicientos sea considerado espacio natural protegido (zona zepa)contando con especies como el aguila imperial iberica,buitre leonado,la cigüeña negra, el alcon peregreno y muchas otras.
Desde las ventanas de la casa los avistamientos de estas aves son casi seguros.
Tambien se puede recorrer el Encinar de la Parra (bosque con caza mayor en libertad),y el Pielago robledal milenario.
En los alrrededores de la casa se puede visitar la iglesia y ermita goticas del siglo XVI.
Su interesante necropolis visigoda,PIEDRA ESCRITA monolitico del siglo I d.c,dedicado a la diosa DIANA,diosa de la maternidad, la caza y las tierras salvajes, lugar de poder y encantamiento.
La casa que fue el lugar donde nacio CLAUDIO SANCHEZ ALBORNOZ(historiador del siglo XX).
