The house is located on the outskirts of a small village in the north western county of Cantabria, 8 km distance from San Vicente de la Barquera very close to the Atlantic coast. Until now mainly Spanish travellers have been spending their vacations here and there is no mass tourism. It is a privileged place with subtropical climate, unspoiled nature, beautiful beaches with light, clean sand, green hills and high mountains (2500 m). There are cultural highlights in the vicinity that can be visited as well as objects of interest such as the prehistoric caves of Altamira.
