El primer tramo de La Barrosa se encuentra muy urbanizado, con un paseo marítimo que ofrece una gran cantidad de servicios (duchas, restaurantes, bares, quioscos,...)
Playa urbanizada y muy frecuentada, resulta muy recomendable debido a su amplitud y variedad de servicios disponibles. Su arena es de gran calidad.
Su longitud es de 4 Km y posee una anchura media de 60 metros.
Seguridad: Equipo de vigilancia, policía, Cruz Roja, Equipo de Salvamento.
Servicios: Aseos, duchas, teléfono, papeleras, limpieza, pasarelas de acceso, alquiler sombrillas y hamacas, etc.
La terminología chiclanera marcará el inicio de este paseo marítimo como “la primera pista” siendo la zona donde termina el paseo, a la altura del puesto de socorro de la Cruz Roja, la zona conocida como “la segunda pista” En medio de estas dos “pistas” se encuentra la zona conocida como “la de la Bandera azul”.
En el camino hacia la Torre del Puerco se encuentra la zona del “complejo atlántico” que recibe el nombre de una urbanización con solera. Un poco más adelante, a la altura del centro comercial Bella mar, lugar donde disfrutar la noche de Chiclana y cerca del Pinar Público de La Barrosa, la zona conocida como “la tercera pista”
