Extraordinary welcome email message with excellent way-finding photos to the location. Our positive impression was tainted by the receptionist (perhaps owner) looking up briefly and tersely declaring that check-in is at 2:00. She might havre greeted and welcomed us first and perhaps invited us to enjoy a beverage by the pool while we waited for check-in. She’s missing a significant revenue opportunity.

El personal es encantador, la cena sencilla y casera nos cautivó, el desayuno una maravilla. Los servicios del alojamiento nos sorprendieron, desde el parking cubierto y amplio, los jardines, la psicina, hasta el aroma a vainilla en todo el alojamiento... todo muy limpio. Una casa rural con piscina y todas las comodidades. ¡Volveremos!

It has a swimming pool so it might be a great thing in summer. The location is remote, 20 minutes off the Camino and there's nothing else around. The food was below average. Be prepared to take your luggage 2 flights of stairs as there's no lift. Beautiful setting surrounded by gardens and interesting features.

Mi experiencia fue muy buena en este establecimiento, las instalaciones interiores y exteriores son bastante óptimas, el trato genial y en general les daría una nota de 9,6 en todos los conceptos.

Friendly very comfortable and lovely setting to sit out, only downside no lift taking your luggage up the stairs especially if your on the 2nd floor

We did the Camino and this was beyond a doubt our FAVORITE proper to stay at. The property was beautiful! The entire experience were extremely nice. The pool and grounds were a welcome relief from the walk. The owner of the house was very gracious as were the assistants in the kitchen. We opted for dinner on site and it was a perfect end to a perfect stay. I highly recommend this property

Estuvimos encantados durante las 7 noches ue nos hospedamos alli. Es un hotel de una categoria muy superior al precio, asi que es una opcion muy recomendable. Carmen fue muy amable con nosotros y nuestro bebe Aaron. Ojala podamos volver a ir a Casa Antiga do Monte!!

Un lugar con encanto

La casa es muy bonita, las instalaciones muy bien conservada. Se encuentra alejada a mas de 1 km del camino y no nos ofrecieron servicio de recogida. No hay ascensor ni personal que suba las maletas a las habitaciones.
