Traditional Asturian farmhouse of nine acres of ground, where wild meadows are grazed by a flock of the rare sheep breed Xalda, indigenous of Asturias.
A small stream runs by, which gives name to the place: escorrentía , enclosed at its back by a row of old oak-trees and with a wide range of fruit trees and ornamental plants.
Close (2 km) to the village of Ribadesella, at the mouth of river Sella on the eastern coastal area of Asturias: Santa Marina and Vega beaches, caves of Tito Bustillo, not far from Picos de Europa mountains (30 km).
