O CABAZO DA CURUXA
Lourenzá, A MARIÑA LUCENSE (Lugo)
The house is located in a valley in the south end of Lourenzá, about 4 km from the Santiago North Road following Trabada variant. It is a part of the village of As Pantigueiras which is accessed by a narrow path flanked by chesnut and laurel trees and is constituted by another 5 stone houses, four of them uninhabited.

In the surroundings, wooded hills, including some of the last natural forests in the region, are mixed with meadows where you can find cows, horses, sheeps or goats, and gardens where residents grow the famous FABAS of Lourenzá and other rich vegetables and fruits .

O Cabazo da Curuxa is a village house built in stone recently renovated trying to preserve the rustic atmosphere of old houses. We have used local stone and chestnut wood, without sacrificing the amenities that are required today to make you feel at home and enjoy a comfortable rest.

In addition to your room, you can enjoy the public areas of the house, like the living room with a wood burning stove, the garden, the terrace or the old barn now converted into porch. In any of these you can sit and enjoy a reading, a conversation, a drink, or just relax enjoying a truly rural area.
