1. Departure. Depart from Llanes and others meeting points

2. Transfer to the Canyon. We begin with a scenic drive up to Picos de Europa, between 30-45 minutes.

3. Preparation. We dress in wetsuits and leave our dry clothes in the van.

4. Walking to the Canyon. We will set off on foot, 15-25 minutes of a gentle walk depending on the canyon

5. Descending the canyon. Once in, we will descend the canyon by abseiling/rappelling waterfalls, jumping into natural pools, floating down narrow passageways and water slides, all in beautiful natural surroundings.

6. Return to the van. When we finish, we return again to the van, change our clothes and return to Llanes

LEVEL 1. BEGINNERS.
The Adventurer has a little bit of everything in an action packed 5 hour approx round trip, you spend up to 2 hours canyoning. We walk in through an ancient beech forest that hides the Rubó canyon
Once in, we’ll descend the canyon by jumping into natural pools, floating down narrow passageways and water slides, all in beautiful natural surroundings.
It’s an awesome feeling. No experience necessary, our guides will assess your skill and give you alternative routes where possible if you’re uncomfortable. You can choose the level of challenge you want and will get all the instruction you need.
This is something the family can do together. A great canyon for all ages and abilities.

LEVEL 2. MEDIUM.
This level includes abseiling/rappelling waterfalls, jumping into natural pools, floating down narrow passageways and cascading down chutes, all in beautiful natural surroundings.
Although no experience is required this canyon is suited to people that have a decent level of fitness and a sense of adventure! The minimum age is 12; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

LEVEL 3. ADVANCED.
A full noise canyoning experience including technical instruction, towering canyon walls and fast flowing water cascades. You’ll need to have some canyoning experience or be strong in a related sport.
A good fitness level, swimming ability and previous experience in either canyoning or a related sport is required.
Minimum age 16 years.

- Swimsuit.
- Towel.
- Dry underclothes.

Requirements to do the activity:
- It is necessary to know how to swim.
- No previous experience is required but you should be fit and possess a spirit of adventure

Acceptance of Risk

Adventurous activities carry with them an inherent element of risk, including but not limited to physical hazards, unpredictable and sometimes dangerous weather and water conditions and the actions of other persons, forces of nature, the negligence of Rumbo a Picos, its affiliated organisations and their employees, and/or other agencies known or unknown.

• I accept that I am aware of these risks and understand that accidents can and do occur.
• By making this booking I am declaring that I am medically and physically fit and able to participate in the activities.
• I am aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some of the time during which I am participating in the trip.
• In order to partake in the enjoyment and excitement of this adventure travel trip I accept the risks and uncertainty involved as being an integral part of the adventure.

Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for preparing physically and mentally for the trip they have signed-up for and must bring the appropriate clothing and equipment. A packing list will be sent prior to departure. You are also personally responsible for following standard social behaviour with fellow trip members, staff and locals.
