**History of the House**
This beautiful house has a history dating back to 1893 when it was originally built as a grocery and hardware store. Its strategic location at a crossroads made it a resting place for travelers passing from Coruña to Finisterre and from Santiago to Finisterre. In those days, guests were often students or vendors heading to Santiago de Compostela for study or to attend fairs. There were also watering troughs to refresh the travelers' horses.
In the 1930s, the house shifted its focus and began to exclusively sell hardware, dry goods, and groceries. Over time, food products were gradually phased out, turning it into a store exclusively for dry goods and hardware. However, the tradition of offering customers a glass of wine while they shopped remained.
In the year 2000, restoration work began, lasting 18 months. During this process, the house was modernized with central heating and solar panels to heat water. Six en-suite rooms and a suite with a whirlpool tub were created, offering breathtaking views of the garden.
**House Description**
The house has a total of seven rooms, each equipped with a spacious bathroom, television, radio, and telephone. The rooms are distributed as follows:
- Two rooms on the ground floor next to the lounge, designed for people with limited mobility. These rooms have 1.50 beds and a shower instead of a bathtub.
- On the first floor, you will find four rooms: two with 1.50 beds and two with separate 1.20 beds. All four bathrooms on this floor have large bathtubs.
- In the attic, there is a luxurious suite with impressive views of the garden and a whirlpool tub.
Common areas include a spacious lounge on the ground floor with a traditional fireplace (lareira) that invites conversation with other guests or enjoying a game of cards by the warmth of the fire. In the basement, you will find a cellar where you can taste wines, soft drinks, and beer.
The garden, occupying approximately nine hundred square meters, features fruit trees and ornamental plants that provide a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. We also offer private parking within the estate for the convenience of our guests.
