The Arcada de Fares are eco-tourist apartments established in a restored traditional 15th century Catalan country house. The apartments are located in the province of Girona, in Catalonia, northeast Spain, in a strategically important area from a tourism point of view between the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees. It is the perfect place for families and groups of friends to spend active holidays of discovery, living alongside indigenous nature and culture, and enjoying the Mediterranean sun and climate. You will be able to participate in a wide range of active and cultural tourism activities such as hiking, cycle tourism, mountain biking, adventure sports, botanical routes, guided tours, museums, fairs, traditional markets, etc. with the most complete and personalised tourist information provided to you in our reception, enabling you to make the most of your stay.

The Arcada de Fares was created on the basis of an ecotourism philosophy. Our main motivation is the observation and appreciation of nature, contributing to its conservation and generating the minimum possible impact on the natural environment and cultural heritage. The apartments have been designed as much as possible with sustainable construction materials, renewable energy systems (thermal solar energy for heating water) and making use of resources (collection of rain and grey water for garden maintenance, recycling and composting). The swimming pool and the gardens are environmentally friendly. All of this without detriment to aesthetics and comfort.

To formalize the reservation of an apartment it will not be necessary to pay a deposit. The holder of the reservation will only be required to have a credit card as a guarantee of the reservation.
Usual cancellation policy:
No penalty up to 14 days before the date of entry.
Between 14 and 7 days before, 25% of the stay will be charged.
Between 7 and 1 day before, 50% of the stay will be charged.
Canceling the same day or not if you do not show up, 100% of the stay will be charged
In case of cancellation due to force majeure or for the reasons mentioned below, we will save the amount of the penalty, leaving a margin of one year to be able to enjoy it on another occasion (it must always be justified with a legal document that proves the situation)
