La Borda de Pastores is much more than a rural house in the very heart of the Pyrénées. Our hope is to spread and preserve the richness of cultural heritage of the traditional sheep rearing.
You will be able to live unique and different experiences; live with the shepherd and his flock, be in contact with nature and taste the 'Ternasco de Aragon'.
La Borda de Pastores is situated in the valley isolated in the very heart of the Pyrénées, at the foot of the Peña Oroel but with a perfect communication and very interesting landscapes and hiking.
La Borda de Pastores offers different rural housing from 1 person to a group of friends or a large group, in a hostel or in a house for 21 persons.
LAYOUT
Ground floor: Los Arregueses and Room Los Pacos
*Los Arregueses: family stay of 4 persons: 1 bedroom 1 double bed, 1 bedroom 1 stowaway bed 2 persons, 1 bathroom, and 1 dining room with a little space: microwave, fridge, sink and television.
*Triple bedroom 'Los Pacos': fashionable bedroom is the best for a couple with or without children. Comfortable space for 2-3 persons and adapted for handicapped people. Double bed, elevated bed and an adapted private bathroom.
*Living room and kitchen shared for these 2 stays
First floor: La Viña flat
La Viña flat is perfect for a small group until 6 persons; 2 bedrooms and living room for those who want to enjoy their independence while sharing the space with other guests.
Situated in the first floor of the house and composed by:
1 bedroom 2 single beds
1 bedroom double bed
1 dinning room, living room with sofa bed and American kitchen entirely equipped
1 bathroom
Attic: El Plano and La Morera
El Plano: 4 people, 2 bedrooms: double bed and stowaway bed, wc and shower, a living room with a small space: microwave, fridge and television.
La Morera: 4 people, 1 double bed, dinning room with stowaway bed, wc, small living room with small space: microwave, fridge and television.
Rooms shared:
The 'cadiera': a large bench next to the chimney to spend the evening
Living room with a large space for meetings and a table for activities
A hall with a book-case at the entrance
Ternasco de Aragon is a typical Aragon meal; there is nothing to beat it.
The experience will be perfect only if you savour this meal baked on embers on the terrace covered with a panoramic viewpoint or baked in a wood fire into the dinning room.

Living like them is an experience full of sensation to know the traditional sheep rearing a first-person, the shepherd labor and his flock.
Dynamic games at the open air will show you this way of life, closely linked to the natural environment, and at the same time, you will discover the shepherd's everyday work and the rearing labor in a funny, interesting and rewarding way.
At the end, you'll learn how to take care, feed and get out a flock of 300 sheep with the shepherd dog, then you will differentiate the sheep, so you will be able to savour the culinary virtue of the Ternasco de Aragon on embers and the Menu Pastoril
